A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND APPOINTING
AN AD HOC CITIZENS PARTICIPATION WORKING
REVIEW COMMITTEE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , the City is eligible to participate in the
program provided for in the United States Community
Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the said Act provides for local citizen participation
as a mechanism advisory to the Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, the citizen participation mechanism can provide
more options to the use of existing opportunities in the whole
community; and
WHEREAS , the said mechanism can be effective in carrying
out the intended purposes of the Community Development Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. As a part of citizen participation mechanism
an Ad Hoc Working Review Committee of 21 members is hereby
established composed in part with housing related decision
makers both public and private. The said committee shall be
responsible for advising the Board of Directors and other
citizen participation groups on housing related decisions and
means of achieving a unified policy framework for improving
housing conditions throughout the City of Little Rock. The
said Citizens Participation Working Review Committee shall
be composed of the following named individuals:

SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
