A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF VARIOUS SUPPLIES FOR THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase
of supplies and equipment for use by the Traffic Department
of the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidders
have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to authorize the purchase of these items from the
lowest responsible and responsive bidders .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on
supplies for use by the Traffic Department of the City of Little
Rock have been received and contracts are hereby awarded to the
following successful bidders in the total amounts set opposite
each bid for the purchase of various items of equipment at the
separate prices quoted all as set forth in Pppendix A attached
hereto consisting of 6 pages and made a part hereof as if set
out word for word :

price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.

with Singler equipment. No specifications or descriptions
were Included with the bid. Indications are, that the
controller is not 'phase modular' as required by specifi-
cations. .
c, The Arkansas State Highway Department recently signalized
the intersection of Highway #10 and Mississippi .. Soon the ,
, City of Little Rock will be accepting responsibility for •
maintenance and operation of this intersection. The 4...:.1; - troller at Highway 10 and Mississippi is of the same type .
