A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE FIFTH
YEAR STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IN THE MODEL
CITIES AREA: AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the Model
Cities Fifth Year Street Construction Project; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the awarding of this contract to the lowest re-
sponsible and responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
the Fifth Year Street Construction Project in the Model Cities
area has been received and contract awarded as follows :
Successful Bidder is Tri-City Construction Company,
Highway 5 South, Little Rock, Arkansas
Bid Price is $312 ,565 . 00
SECTION 2 . From time to time as may be necessary, the
City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of the
said construction price; said construction shall comply in
all respects with bid specifications on file in the office
of the Purchasing Agent for the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
