A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE RETIREMENT OF
DOCTOR MASON LAWSON AND EXPRESSING GRATITUDE
AND APPRECIATION FOR HIS YEARS OF PUBLIC SER-
VICE TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , Doctor Mason Lawson, Director of the Health De-
partment of the City of Little Rock since 1947, has retired
from those duties on September 23rd, 1974 ; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
express gratitude for these years of dedicated public service.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The retirement of Doctor Mason Lawson as
Director of the Department of Public Health of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas , effective September 23, 1974 is hereby
acknowledged. Further, Doctor Lawson is hereby commended
for his thirty-two years of public service to the City of
iLittle Rock and all of its citizens.
SECTION 2 . The Board of Directors extends to Doctor
Lawson their personal thanks and wish for him and his family
future success , health and happiness .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
