5273 RESOLUTION NO 5 ,273
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE
OF THREE SANITATION VEHICLES; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
three sanitation vehicles; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidders
have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to authorize the purchase of these vehicles from the
lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
three sanitation vehicles has been determined and contract is
hereby awarded as follows :
International Harvester Company - Three 29 cubic yard side loading
910 East 6th Street garbage trucks @ $37 ,724 .06 each
Little Rock, Arkansas 72202 Total cost including tax is
$113 ,172 .18
Funds have been previously budgeted for purchase of these vehicles.
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the above identified three
sanitation vehicles complying in all respects with bidding require-
ments and specifications , the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
