A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THE PETITION OF
IONE COLQUETTE AND J. WEINGARTEN, INC . TO CLOSE AND
VACATE AN UNPLATTED AND UNDEDICATED STRIP OF LAND
RUNNING SOUTH FROM WEST MARKHAM STREET, SOMETIMES
REFERRED TO AS "NEBLING ROAD" IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS , a petition has been filed with the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock by Ione Colquette
and J. Weingarten, Inc. , praying for the closing and vacat-
ing of the following described strip of land or portion of
a street (sometimes referred to as "Nebling Road") , situated
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to wit:
A strip of land approximately 30 feet in
width, East and West, running South from
West Markham Street, the centerline of which
is described as beginning at the Northeast
corner of Lot 1 , WEST MARKHAM STREET SUB-
DIVISION, to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas; thence South along said
East line 605. 65 feet to the end point of
this centerline description.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the 7th day of May
1974 , at 7:30 P .M. , in the Board Chambers, City Hall,
Little Rock, Arkansas, is the date, time and place fixed
for hearing of the petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk give notice of
such hearing by publication, once a week for two consecu-
tive weeks, in some newspaper published in Pulaski County
and having a general circulation in the City of Little
Rock, stating in said notice the name of the petitioners
and a description of the portion of the street to be closed
and vacated and advising all persons that on the date
named above, the Board will hear the petition and deter-
mine whether the aforesaid portion of a strip of land, or
street, shall be closed and vacated.
