A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
REPAIR OF TD-25C BULLDOZER; WAIVING COM-
PETITIVE BIDDING; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, a TD-253 Bulldozer owned by the City of Little
Rock and assigned for use to the Little Rock Landfill is now
inoperable and in need of repair; and
WHEREAS , inasmuch as Little Rock Road & Machinery Company
is the only known supplier of parts for said bulldozer and
it is urgent that this machine be put back into operation as
soon as possible; and
WHEREAS , it has been estimated that repairs will cost
$9 ,750 . 00 .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. A contract for repairs of a TD-25C Bulldozer
owned by the City of Little Rock is hereby awarded to Little
Rock Road & Machinery Company. The contract price of $9 , 750 . 00
includes parts and labor.
SECTION 2 . The repair of said tractor is determined by
the Board of Directors to be an exceptional situation justi-
fying the waiving of competitive bidding and said competitive
bidding is hereby waived.
SECTION 3 . Upon completion of the repair work to the
satisfaction of the Director of Community Development, the
City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment
thereof, not to exceed the sum of $9 , 750 . 00.
SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
