A RESOLUTION IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS , death claimed R. A. "Arch" Campbell on March 28 ,
1974 at age 85; and
WHEREAS, during his long life span he lived every day
to the fullest and with ambition and dedication to serve his
fellowman; and
WHEREAS, while for those eighteen years he served as
Judge of Pulaski County , he became known and respected as a
man with honorable and strong convictions and possessing the
admirable quality of courage to support them at the conference
table; and
WHEREAS , with his passing this community has lost a
great citizen and friend.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. This community is a better place to live as
4 a direct legacy of the life of R. A. "Arch" Campbell , for
which his contemporaries and posterity are and will be humbly
greatful.
SECTION 2 . We all join the family of our beloved friend
in their bereavement .
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
