A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY WITH THE
AID AND ASSISTANCE OF THE PROPER CITY AUTHORITIES
TO GIVE NOTICE TO THE CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND & PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY IN KEEPING WITH STATE LAW TO CAUSE
RAILROAD CROSSINGS OVER PUBLIC STREETS TO BE REPAIRED
AND MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO STATE LAW; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and
requested, utilizing proper and responsible City Authorities ,
to cause legal notice to be served on the Chicago, Rock Island
& Pacific Railroad Company in keeping with provisions of
Section 73-614 through 73-618 of Arkansas Statutes , 1947
annotated, to cause all its railroad crossings of public
streets within the City of Little Rock to be repaired and
maintained as required by said Statutes . The City Attorney
is further authorized to cooperate with and seek the assis-
tance of the Prosecuting Attorney as required by the referenced
statutory authority to enforce provisions of said Statutes.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
