A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE ACTION OF PULASKI
VISITORS COUNCIL IN CREATING THE HOTEL-MOTEL
COMMITTEE WITH DIRECTIONS TO WORK WITH THE
CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND THROUGH IT THE STATE
HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO RESOLVE ANY PROBLEMS
RELATED TO FOOD SERVICE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , the Pulaski Visitors Council has approved the
creation of a Hotel-Motel Committee to work with the City
Health Department and through it the State Health Department
to resolve any problems related to food service that adversely
affects the food industry locally in competing without endan-
gering the public health and safety; and,
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors shares the concern of the
Pulaski Visitors Council in this undertaking.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby officially
sanctions and endorses the action of the Pulaski Visitors
Council in creating a Hotel-Motel Committee to work with the
Health Department of the City of Little Rock and through it,
the State Health Department toward eliminating any problems
which might place the local food industry in an unfavorable
competitive position, provided however, that the solution to
such problems , if any, should not be proposed which would allow
practices detrimental to the public health and safety.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
