A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE UNDERTAKING OF
THE ARKANSAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE IN A PETITION
CAMPAIGN FOR CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT REMOVING
THE $5 ,000 . 00 SALARY LIMITATION ON MUNICIPAL
OFFICERS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City of Little Rock hereby approves and
commits to support a proposed campaign of the Arkansas Municipal
League for an initiative petition for a constitutional amendment
removing the salary limitation on municipal officers in the State
of Arkansas and encouraging the qualified electors of the City
of Little Rock to support this proposition by signing such
petition.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
