A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH COORDINATION STATEMENT
BETWEEN METROPLAN' S A-95 REVIEW PROGRAM AND THE
CITY' S OFFICE FOR CHIEF EXECUTIVE REVIEW & COMMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Little Rock has been designated as a Chief
Executive Review and Comment (CERC) city by the Southwest
Federal Regional Council to review and comment on all federal
fund applications affecting the city, and
WHEREAS , the City accepted this responsibility and also
received a $25 , 000 . 00 grant to implement CERC; and
WHEREAS , an expansion of CERC to cover Arkansas state
plan/pass-through funds is in the best interest of the City; and
WHEREAS , the State Planning Department has requested formal
board action stating its intention to coordinate procedures with
Metroplan, the A-95 Review Agency, before CERC will be expanded
to cover state plan/pass-through funds , and
WHEREAS, the Metroplan is prepared to take formal reciprocal
action.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby agrees to
notify Metroplan of all applications received for CERC Review
and to coordinate project review with Metroplan staff when a
project is subject to both CERC and A-95 review and comment.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
