A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO PURCHASE
FERTILIZER FOR THE PARKS DEPARTMENT:
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
fertilizer for use by the Little Rock Parks Department;
and,
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the purchase of such fertilizer from said low
4 bidder.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Contract is hereby awarded to Farmers Asso-
ciation for the purchase of 35 tons of fertilizer for use
0 by the Little Rock Parks Department at a cost of $4 ,037.60 ,
which cost includes tax.
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the fertilizer from time to
time as requested by the Parks Department, complying in all
respects with bidding specifications , the City Manager and
Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of said
purchase price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
