A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LEASE OF LANDS TO
THE GOOD SPIRIT SINGING UNION, A NONPROFIT
CORPORATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. At such time as the City of Little Rock obtains
title thereto, the responsible persons in City Government , inclu-
ding the Mayor and City Clerk , acting for and on behalf of the
City of Little Rock, as Lessor, are hereby authorized to enter
into a Lease Agreement with the Good Spirit Singing Union , a
nonprofit corporation , as Lessee , covering Lots 1, 2 , 3 and 4 ,
Block B, East End Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
for a period of forty (40) years at an annual rental of $100 . 00
plus five (5%) percent of the net profit derived from the
business undertakings of said Lessee. It being the under-
standing of the City of Little Rock that this project is a
Model Cities project designed to promote business in the Model
Cities area.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
