A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIN3 THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN
APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS TO THE COMMISSION ON CRIME
AND LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR THE STATE OF ARKANSAS TO BE
USED FOR THE ORGANIZED CRIME UNIT OF THE POLICE DEPART-
MENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized acting for
and on behalf of the City of Little Rock to prepare, execute and
file with the Commission on Crime and Law Enforcement for the State
of Arkansas an application for grant funds for a total project cost
of $65, 096.00 of which the sum of $40, 652 .00 is Federal Funds requested
to be matched by State Cash Funds in the amount of $5, 647 .00 and by the
City of Little Rock with in-kind services in the amount of $18, 797 . 00 .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
