A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ASSIGNMENT OF
SAMUEL L. RAINES AND BARBARA W. RAINES ,
HIS WIFE , OF THEIR INTEREST IN A PROMISSORY
NOTE ISSUED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ON
AUGUST 1 , 1967 ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute for and on behalf of the City an acceptance of
assignment by Samuel L. Raines and Barbara W. Raines , his wife
of their right , title and interest in and to that certain
Promissory Note dated August 1 , 1967 to Mary J. Raines in the
original principal sum of $349 ,500 . 00 and bearing interest
at the rate of six (6%) percent per annum, said assignment
being made in favor of Union National Bank of Little Rock,
Arkansas .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
