A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CERTIFICATION OF
THE VOTE APPLICABLE TO THE ANNEXATION OF
LAND TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK IN THE ELE-
CTION HELD MAY 3, 1973; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby accepts
the certification of the Pulaski County Election Commission of
the votes cast in the matter of the annexation of approximately
55 square miles of land to the City of Little Rock in the election
held May 3, 1973 . According to said certification the vote was
10, 651 for annexation and 6, 619 against annexation. A copy of
said certification shall be filed with and recorded in the office
of the City Clerk.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
