A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THE PETITION OF
MELVYN BELL, SAM B. REYNOLDS , AGENT , ROBERT V. LIGHT,
JERRY T. LIGHT AND JO NEVA LIGHT TO CLOSE AND VACATE A
PORTION OF NORTH VALMAR STREET (FORMERLY LOCUST STREET)
SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF EAST PULASKI HEIGHTS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS , a petition has been filed with the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock by Melvyn
Bell , Sam B. Reynolds , Agent, Robert V. Light, Jerry T.
Light and Jo Neva Light, praying for the closing and va-
cating of the following described portion of a street,
situated in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , to wit:
All that part of North Valmar Street
(formerly Locust Street) shown on the
Plat of EAST PULASKI HEIGHTS ADDITION
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
in Deed Book 76 at Page 452 in the
office of the Recorder for Pulaski
County, Arkansas, which is abutted on
the East by Lots 7 and 8 , Block 5 , of
said addition, and is abutted on the
West by Lots 5 and 6 , Block 6 , of
said addition.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the 19th day of June
1973 , at7 :30 P .M. , in the Board Chambers , City Hall ,
Little Rock, Arkansas , is the date , time and place fixed
for hearing of the petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk give notice of
such hearing by publication, once a week for two consecu-
tive weeks, in some newspaper published in Pulaski County
and having a general circulation in the City of Little
Rock, stating in said notice the name of the petitioners
and a description of the portion of the street to be closed
and vacated and advising all persons that on the date
named above, the Board will hear the petition and deter-
mine whether the aforesaid portion of a street shall be
closed and vacated.
