A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF 26 TRUCKS FOR USE BY VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY AND FOR PORTABLE
STEEL BLEACHERS ; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received in response thereto according to law for the purchase
of twenty-six (26) trucks for various City departments and for
the purchase of portable steel bleachers ; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive and responsible bidders
have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock to award contracts to
the lowest responsible and responsive bidders .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
trucks for use by the City and for portable steel bleachers for
the Parks Department are hereby accepted and contracts awarded
as follows :

SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the above mentioned trucks
and bleachers , complying in all respects with bidding specifi-
cations , the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of same.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
