4966 RESOLUTION NO. 4,966
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR LEASE WITH
THE UNITED STATES CORPS OF ENGINEERS FOR THE
MURRAY DAM SITE PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute an application for lease or license for public parks
and recreational purposes (specifically Murray Dam Site Park)
whereby the Federal Government would construct the facility
at a cost estimated to be $950 , 000 . 00 and the City would
provide its portion of the required improvements at its own
expense or the expense of concessionaires .
SECTION 2 . The City of Little Rock hereby commits itself
to provide its portion of the improvements and fund the cost
of operation and maintenance of this facility at such time as
the improvements being provided by the Corps of Engineers are
complete.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
