A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING
TITLE TO LANDS COMPRISING THE NORTH-SOUTH
ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 43 , ORIGINAL CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS TO HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 12,753 previously adopted by
the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, this date, the
North-South alley located within Block 43, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, was vacated, abandoned and closed; and
WHEREAS, said North-South alley is not presently physically in
existence but is located within the site for Project ARK 4-10 , and accordingly
it is necessary for Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas to
acquire fee simple title to the lands comprising said North-South alley, and
Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has requested a quitclaim
deed from the City of Little Rock, Arkansas as to the lands comprising said
closed North-South alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a Quitclaim Deed in the
form of the instrument attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution,
by which all interest of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in and to the
lands located within and comprising said closed alley are conveyed to
Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, said lands being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1 ,
Block 43, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; run thence South along the West
right of way line of the North-South alley
located within Block 43 , Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Southeast corner
of Lot 6, Block 43, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; run thence East along the North
right of way line of East 9th Street to the
Southwest corner of Lot 7, Block 43, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; run thence North
along the East right of way line of the North-
South alley located within Block 43, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Northwest
corner of Lot 12, Block 43, Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; run thence West along
the South right of way line of East 8th Street
to the point of beginning. (Same being also
described as: All of the North-South alley
located within Block 43 , Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.)
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
the time of its passage.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, by its Mayor and City
Clerk, duly authorized hereto by proper resolution of its Board of
Directors dated the 20th day of March , 19 73 , in consider-
ation of the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1 . 00) in hand paid by Housing Authority
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, Grantee, and other good and valuable
considerations, the receipt of which are hereby acknowledged, does hereby
grant, sell and quitclaim unto said Grantee and unto its successors and
assigns forever, all its right, title, claim and interest in and to the fee
simple title to the following lands lying in Pulaski County, Arkansas,
to-wit:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1 ,
Block 43, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; run thence South along the West
right of way line of the North-South alley
located within Block 43, Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Southeast corner
of Lot 6, Block 43, Original City of Little
Rock, Arkansas; run thence East along the
North right of way line of East 9th Street to
the Southwest corner of Lot 7, Block 43,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; run
thence North along the East right of way line of the
North-South alley located within Block 43 , Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Northwest
corner of Lot 12, Block 43, Original City of Little
Rock, Arkansas; run thence West along the South
right of way line of East 8th Street to the point
of beginning. (Same being also described as:
All of the North-South alley located within Block
43, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas.)
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said GRANTEE and unto its
successors and assigns forever, with all appurtenances thereunto belonging.

Rock, Arkansas, is hereunto affixed by its Mayor, and its seal affixed by
