A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A WAREHOUSE FOR THE LITTLE
ROCK PORT FACILITY , AUTHORIZING PAYMENT,AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , an invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received in response thereto according to law for the construction
of a warehouse as part of the Little Rock Port facility, and;
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive , responsible bidder has been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock to award the contract for the construction of
the said warehouse to the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The lowest responsive , responsible bid for a
contract for the construction of a warehouse at the Little Rock
Port facility is hereby accepted and the contract awarded to
Matson, Inc. , for the contract price of One Hundred Nine Thousand
Three hundred Eighty-six and 00/100 ($109 , 386 . 00) Dollars .
SECTION 2 . Upon completion of the said contract, complying
in all respects with the bid specifications and bid proposals or
as provided for by the contract hereby awarded, the City Manager
and Finance Director are hereby authorized and directed to issue
the said warrant or warrants in payment of the said contract price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
