A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THE PETITION
OF COMMONWEALTH SERVICE CORPORATION TO CLOSE AND VACATE
A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED STREET SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF
R. D. DUNCAN' S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
WHEREAS , a petition has been filed with the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock by Commonwealth
Service Corporation, praying for the closing and vacating
of the following described portion of a street, situated
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , to-wit :
All that part of an unnamed street shown
on the Plat of R. D. DUNCAN' S ADDITION
to Little Rock, Arkansas , in Plat Book 1,
at Page 178, in the office of the Record-
er for Pulaski County , Arkansas , which
lies between Blocks 2 and 3 of said
addition.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the 16th day of January
197 3 , at 7 :30 P.M. , in the Board Chambers , City Hall,
Little Rock, Arkansas , is the date , time and place fixed
for hearing of the petition .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk give notice of
such hearing by publication, once a week for two consecu-
tive weeks , in some newspaper published in Pulaski County
and having a general circulation in the City of Little
Rock, stating in said notice the name of the petitioner
and a description of the portion of the street to be closed
and vacated and advising all persons that on the date
named above, the Board will hear the petition and determine
whether the aforesaid portion of a street shall be closed
and vacated.
