A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
CONVEYING TITLE TO LANDS COMPRISING THE
NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK
104, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
TO FIRST NATIONAL, INC. , AN ARKANSAS CORPOR-
ATION, AND METROPOLITAN TRUST COMPANY, AN
ARKANSAS CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 12,712 previously adopted by the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, this date, the North-South
alley located within Block 104, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, was
vacated, abandoned and closed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a Quitclaim Deed in the form of the instrument
attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, by which all interest of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in and to the lands located within and comprising
said closed alley are conveyed to First National, Inc. , an Arkansas corporation,
and to Metropolitan Trust Company, an Arkansas corporation, as to the East 1/2
of said alley adjoining the West boundary line of Lots 7 and 8 of said Block 104,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, presently owned by Metropolitan Trust
Company, the remainder of the said Block being owned by First National, Inc. ,
said lands being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block
104, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; run
thence South along the West right of way line of the
North-South alley located within Block 104, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Southeast corner
of Lot 6, Block 104, Original City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas; run thence East along North right of way line of
West Fifth Street (Capitol Avenue) to the Southwest
corner of Lot 7, Block 104, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; run thence North along the East right of way
line of the North-South alley located within Block 104,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the North-
west corner of Lot 12, Block 104, Original City of Little
Rock, Arkansas; run thence West along the South right of
way line of West Fourth Street to the point of beginning.
(Same being also described as: All of the North-South
alley located within Block 104, Original City of Little
Rock, Arkansas) .
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from the time
of its passage.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, by its Mayor and City Clerk, duly 1

authorized hereto by proper resolution of its Board of Directors dated the 17th
day of October , 1972, in consideration of the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
in hand paid by First National, Inc. , an Arkansas corporation, and Metropolitan
Trust Company, an Arkansas corporation, Grantees, and other good and valuable
considerations, the receipt of which are hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant,
sell and quitclaim, subject to utility easements, unto said Grantees and unto
their successors and assigns forever, all its right, title, claim and interest in
and to the fee simple title to the respective portions to each Grantee of the
1 following lands formerly used as a public alley, lying in Pulaski County, Arkansas,
as are hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1 , Block
4 104, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; run
thence South along the West right of way line of the

City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Southeast corner

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the same unto the said GRANTEES
and unto their successors and assigns forever, with all appurtenances thereunto
belonging as follows:
Unto Metropolitan Trust Company - that portion of the above
4 described lands comprising the East 1/2 of said North-South
alley adjoining the West boundary line of Lots 7 and 8, Block
104, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and

Unto First National, Inc. - all the lands described
above comprising said North-South alley located
within Block 104, Original City of LittleRock, Arkansas
with the exception of that portion conveyed hereby to
Metropolitan Trust Company as described hereinabove.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the name of the Grantor, City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, is hereunto affixed by its Mayor, and its seal affixed by its City
Clerk, this 18th day of October , 1972.
