A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING TITLE TO LANDS
COMPRISING A PORTION OF THE EAST-WEST ALLEY LOCATED
WITHIN BLOCK 1 , ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
(ALSO KNOWN AS BRIDGE STREET) TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, IN CONFORMANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE
CENTRAL LITTLE ROCK URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT, PROJECT
NO. ARK R-12.
WHEREAS, the provisions of the Urban Renewal Plan for the Central
Little Rock Urban Renewal Project, Project No. ARK R-12, provide for the
closing of a portion of the East-West alley located within Block 1 , Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas (also known as Bridge Street) in connection with
the redevelopment of the lands in said Block; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 12,711 previously adopted this date
by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the portion of
the East-West alley was vacated, abandoned and closed; and
WHEREAS, said portion of the East-West alley comprises a portion
of a redevelopment site in said Urban Renewal Project, and accordingly it
is necessary for the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to acquire fee simple title to the lands comprising said closed alley, and the
Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has requested a quit-
claim deed from the City of Little Rock, Arkansas as to the lands comprising
said closed alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on
behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a quitclaim deed in the form of
the instrument attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, by which
all interest of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in and to the lands located

within and comprising said closed alley are conveyed to the Housing Authority
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, said lands being more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 1 ,
Original City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
thence Easterly along the North boundary line of said
Lot 7 a distance of 25 feet to the point of beginning;
thence North a distance of 20 feet to a point on the
North right of way line of the East-West alley located
within said Block 1 which is 25 feet East of the South-
west corner of Lot 6, Block 1 , Original City of Little
Rock; thence Easterly along the North right of way line
of said East-West alley (also known as Bridge Street)
a distance of 250 feet to a point, being a point on the
South boundary line of Lot 1 , Block 1 , Original City
of Little Rock, 25 feet West of the Southeast corner
thereof; thence South a distance of 20 feet to a point
on the South right of way line of said East-West alley
located within Block 1 , Original City of Little Rock
(also known as Bridge Street) , said point being 25 feet
West of the Northeast corner of Lot 12, Block 1 , Original
City of Little Rock; thence West along said South right of
way line of said East-West alley located within Block 1,
Original City of Little Rock (also known as Bridge Street)
a distance of 250 feet to the point of beginning and con-
taining 5,000 square feet, more or less.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from the
time of its passage.

QUITCLAIM DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, by its Mayor and City Clerk,
duly authorized hereto by proper Resolution of its Board of Directors dated
the 17th day of October , 1972, in consideration of the sum of
ONE DOLLAR ($1 .00) in hand paid by the Housing Authority of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, GRANTEE, together with the benefits to be received
by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, from the Central Little Rock Urban
Renewal Project, Project ARK R-12, of the Housing Authority of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and other good and valuable considerations, the receipt .
of which are hereby also acknowledged, does hereby grant, sell and quitclaim
subject to utility easements unto the said GRANTEE and unto its successors
and assigns forever, all its right, title, interest and claim in and to the fee 1
simple title to the following lands formerly used as a public alley, lying
in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 1 ,
Original City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
thence Easterly along the North boundary line of said
Lot 7 a distance of 25 feet to the point of beginning;
thence North a distance of 20 feet to a point on the
