A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A SUBMERSIBLE WATER PUMP;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase
of a submersible water pump for the sanitary landfill; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive and responsible bid has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock to authorize the purchase of this
pump from the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid for
a submersible water pump fcr the sanitary landfill is accepted
and a contract is hereby awarded to : Industrial Equipment
Company , P. 0. Box 5771 , North Little Rock , Arkansas in the
total amount of $1, 569 . 04 .
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery and/or installation of said
water pump complying in all respects with the bidding speci-
fications and bid proposal , the City Manager and Director of
Finance are hereby authorized and directed to issue the nece-
ssary warrant or warrants in payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
