A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LIGHTING OF EXISTING TENNIS
COURTS AT WALKER TENNIS CENTER; PRESCRIBING THE FEES TO BE
CHARGED FOR USE OF WALKER TENNIS CENTER COURTS; DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER AND HIS STAFF TO PROCEED WITH PLANS FOR
PROVIDING ADDITIONAL COURTS AT SAID CENTER; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
proceed with plans and implementation of said plans providing lighting for
the existing tennis courts at Walker Tennis Center utilizing a schedule that
will enable night play at said courts under light by no later than April 1,
1973.
SECTION 2. Effective September 1, 1972, the following fees shall be
charged for use of the courts at the Walker Tennis Center:
a) $0.50 per person per hour for day play
h) Individual and Family Season Fees:
1. Individual season membership fee $ 75.00
2. Man and wife season fee $100.00
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby directed to initiate planning to
provide a minimum of three additional courts at the Walker Tennis Center with
the idea that such plans shall be implemented at the direction of the Board of
Directors when such is financially feasible.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
