4820 RESOLUTION NO. 4,820
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A FUEL TRANSFER PIER FOR
THE LITTLE ROCK PORT FACILITY; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PUPOSES .
WHEREAS, the invitation to bid was duly advertised and
bids received thereto according to law for the construction of a
fuel transfer pier as a part of the Little Rock Port facility; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive , responsible bidder has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock that it award the contract for
construction of the said fuel transfer pier to the lowest respon-
sive , responsible bidder .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The lowest responsive , responsible bid for
a contract for the construction of a fuel transfer pier at the
Little Rock Port facility is hereby accepted and the contract
awarded to Martin K. Eby Company for the contract price of
Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($85, 000 . 00) .
SECTION 2 . Upon completion of the said construction
complying in all respects with the bid specifications and the
bid proposal , or as provided for by the contract hereby awarded,
the City Manager and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment
of the contract price .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
