A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
PREPARE AND FILE APPLICATION THROUGH THE
NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES-UNITED STATES
CONFERENCE OF MAYORS , INC. , WITH THE UNITED
STATES DEPARTMENT OF LABOR FOR 1972 SUMMER
YOUTH TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDS ; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION ' 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to prepare and file application through the National League of Cities-
United States Conference of Mayors, Inc. , with the United States
Department of Labor for 1972 summer youth transportation program funds
in the amount of $4, 200. 00 . The local share of this grant project
in the amount of $ 1 , 400 . 00 is on hand and available to be used
together with said grant funds for the purpose of providing summer
youth transporation in the City of Little Rock as contemplated by
the Federal program.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
