A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO SOLARMATIC, INC, OF LITTLE ROCK
FOR REMODELING, RENOVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF AIR CONDITIONING
FACILITIES IN THE POLICE AND COURTS BUILDING; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received pursuant
thereto according to law for the remodeling, renovation and improvement of air
conditioning facilities in the Police and Courts Building; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has been determined and
it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock to award a
contract to Solarmatic, Inc. of Little Rock, the lowest responsible and responsive
bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1, The lowest responsive and responsible bid on a contract to remodel,
renovate and improve air conditioning facilities in the Police and Courts Building is
hereby accepted and a contract awarded to Solarmatic, Inc. of Little Rock in an amount
not to exceed $40,000.00, Said contract shall be prosecuted in compliance with plans
and specifications prepared by Erhart, Eichenbaum, Rauch & Blass, Architect-Engineers.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants as needed from time to time, in
payment of said remodeling and improvements.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
