A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH
JETCO, INC. TO CONSTRUCT AN ANNEX TO THE
INSPECTION AND TRAINING BUILDING OF THE
LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the construction
of an annex to the Inspection and Training Building of the
Little Rock Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
has been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to award the contract for the construction of said
annex to the said lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsive and responsible bid on
a contract to construct an annex to the Inspection and Training
Building of the Little Rock Police Department is hereby accepted
and a contract awarded to Jetco, Inc. in the amount of Sixty-
five thousand, five hundred and sixty ($65 ,560 . 00) dollars.
SECTION 2 . Upon completion of the said annex complying
in all respects with the plans and specifications on file in
the office of the Purchasing Agent as prepared by Weaver &
Hiegel, Associated Architects , the City Manager and Director
of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
necessary warrant or warrants in payment of said contract price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
