A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE
BIDS FOR CERTAIN LANDS OWNED BY THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT AN OPTION FOR
THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN LANDS DESIRED
TO BE ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas is hereby authorized to advertise for sale to the highest
responsible bidder, pursuant to the statutes of the State of Arkan-
sas, the following described lands situated in the County of Pulaski ,
State of Arkansas , to-wit:
The NEB NEa , Section 26 , Township 1 North, Range
12 West, consisting of 40 acres , more or less
SECTION 2 . The City Manager of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas is hereby authorized and directed to procure an option
from the owners of certain lands described as follows :
The WZ of the SW4 , Section 24 , Township 1 North,
Range 12 West, consisting of 80 acres
for a consideration not to exceed the bid accepted by the City of
Little Rock for the property described in Section One hereof.
SECTION 3 . All money received by the City for the sale
of the lands described in Section One hereof shall be solely used
for the acquisition and improvement of the lands described in
Section Two hereof.
SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
affect from and after its adoption.
