A RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASES THROUGHOUT
THE YEAR 1972 OF VARIOUS ITEMS TO BE USED
BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT ALL BASED ON THE BID PRICES QUOTED
AND IN THE AMOUNTS AS SET FORTH HEREIN;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , Invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase throughout the
calendar year 1972 of a variety of items to be used by the City of
Little Rock ; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidders have been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to authorize
the purchase of such quantities of the goods , wares and merchandise
at the purchase price quoted from the successful bidder listed in
the quantities as may be needed from time to time consistent with the
funds appropriated for such by the 1972 budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase
from time to time as needed and in keeping with funds available through
the 1972 budget as same may be amended from time to time , such of the
following items of goods , wares and merchandise as may be needed by
the City of Little Rock from the successful bidder and at the unit
purchase prices all as hereinafter set forth.

The City Manager is hereby given discretion to make specific
orders of concrete from either Razorback or Criss & Shaver, depending
on availability, convenience , service and other factors. An attempt
will be made to purchase equal amounts from Criss & Shaver and Razor-
back throughout the calendar year.

SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the aforementioned items , complying
in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal ,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of
said purchase price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
