RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A
PLATTED STREET KNOWN AS VALLEY CIRCLE STREET
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 12th
day of October, 1971, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon a portion of a platted street described as follows,
to-wit:
A 45 foot right of way street known as Valley
Circle located in the SA NE4 and the NW4 SE4
Section 31, T-2-N, R-12-W, Little Rock, Arkansas,
and being more particularly described as :
Starting at the SE corner of the SA NE4, Section
31 ; thence South 27 . 30 feet; thence N 81°50 'W,
165. 50 feet; thence N 75°17 ' W, 202 . 90 feet; thence
N 79°37 'W, 128. 50 feet; thence N 12°16 ' E, 96.00
feet; thence N 82°24' W, 136 . 30 feet to the Southerly
right of way line of Valley Circle, said point being
the point of beginning; thence N 27°16 'W, 45. 14 feet;
thence S 67°17 ' W, 123.92 feet; thence along the arc
of a 125 ft radius curve to the left having a chord
with a bearing and distance of S 36°14 ' 30"W, 128. 30
feet; thence S 4°56 ' 30"W, 95 .80 feet to the Northerly
right of way line of North Lookout Street; thence
N 65°18 ' 28" E along said Northerly right of way line,
93.82 feet; thence along the arc of a 25 foot radius
curve to the right having a chord with a bearing and
distance of: N 54°25 'W, 43 .20 feet; thence N5°35 ' E,
26 . 90 feet; thence along the arc of an 80 foot radius
curve to the right having a chord with a bearing and
distance of N 36°26 ' E, 82 . 10 feet; thence N 67°17 ' E,
127 . 38 feet to the point of beginning.
as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of
record in Plat Book 4, page 260, in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, which portion of said street is
described with particularity above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
7:30 o' clock p.m. , on the 16th day of November , 1971.
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
