RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF
EAST SIXTEENTH STREET AND A PORTION OF CHERRY STREET
LYING BETWEEN AND ADJACENT TO BLOCKS 16 and 17,
MANUFACTURER'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the ; 8th
day of October, 1971, requesting the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon that portion of East 16th Street lying between the
east right of way line of Fletcher Street and the East right of
way line of Cherry Street (said portion being between Blocks
16 and 17, Manufacturer's Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas) and that portion of Cherry Street lying between the
North right of way line of East 16th Street and the North
right of way line of East 17th Street (said portion being East
of and adjacent to Block 17, Manufacturer's Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas) , as designated on the plat of said
Manufacturer 's Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 2,
page 54, in the Office of the Circuit Clerk and Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utility
easements located in said streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 16th day of November, 1971.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publica-
tion once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
in Pulaski County, Arkansas and having general circulation in the
City of Little Rock.
