RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION
TO VACATE A PORTION OF A PLATTED STREET KNOWN AS WEST 26TH
STREET.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 12th day of October ,
1971, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon a portion of
a platted street described as follows, to-wit:
A portion of a platted street known as West 26th Street,
described as: Begin at the Northwest corner of the East
One-Half of Tract 5, Ella M. Tribble's Subdivision, as
per amended plat thereof filed October 3, 1929, and now
of record in Pulaski County Plat Book 3 at page 115; run
thence North 38 feet to a point on the South line of
Tract 4 in said subdivision; run thence in a Northeasterly
direction along the South line of Tracts 4 and 3 in said
subdivision to the Southeast corner of said Tract 3; run
thence South 38 feet to the Northeast corner of Tract 6
in said subdivision; run thence in a Southwesterly direction
a distance of 125 feet more or less along the North line of
Tracts 6 and 5 in said subdivision to the point of beginning.
as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in
Plat Book 3, page 115, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, which portion of said street is described with particularity
above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock
p. m. , on the 16th day of November , 1971.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of
such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week

for two (2) consecutive weeksin a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
