A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SINCERE APPRECIATION
TO REYNOLDS METAL COMPANY FOR CONVEYANCE TO
THE CITY OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO BE USED
FOR SANITARY LANDFILL OPERATION; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
WHEREAS , Reynolds Metal Company has , without consideration,
conveyed to the City of Little Rock certain real property situated in
the vicinity of Ironton and Dixon Roads in Pulaski County to be used
by the City in its sanitary landfill operation; and
WHEREAS , the City desires to express the sincere appreciation of
all of its citizens to this gracious donor and all persons affiliated
therewith.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City of Little Rock , for and on behalf of all of
its citizens , hereby expresses sincere and grateful appreciation to
Reynolds Metal Company and the officials thereof, particularly,
Julian F. Fuller and J. R. Krause , for the conveyance , without
consideration, of approximately 35 . 2 acres of land near the inter-
section of Ironton and Dixon Roads in Pulaski County to be used by
the City for the purpose of sanitary landfill operation.
SECTION 2 . A duly executed copy of this Resolution is ordered
delivered and presented to the Reynolds Metal Company.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
