RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF A DOLPHIN AT THE LITTLE
ROCK PORT; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for the reconstruction of a dolphin
at the Little Rock Port; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid has been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock to authorize the reconstruction of said dolphin
by the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The lowest responsible and responsive bid on a
contract to reconstruct a dolphin at the Little Rock Port is hereby
accepted and a contract awarded as follows :
To Massman Construction Co. , for dolphin reconstruction,
dolphin locating and removal, $12, 200.00
SECTION 2m Upon completion of the aforementioned reconstruction
complying in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid
proposal, the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment
of said reconstruction.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
