4653 RESOLUTION NO. 4,653
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT
OF LABOR FOR A GRANT AUTHORIZED BY THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT ACT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1, The City Manager is hereby authorized to prepare
and file an application with the United States Department of Labor
for a grant to be used in the employment of needed public employees
all as provided for by the Federal Emergency Employment Act.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to employ such
personnel, from time to time, as may be necessary and in keeping
with the provisions of the Federal Emergency Employment Act and
as may be justified and feasible from the stand point of the
needs and financial ability of the City.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
