A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EMPLOY GARVER & GARVER, ENGINEERS , TO
PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDING
FOR AND TO SERVE VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN
TRAFFIC FORMERLY UTILIZING SPRING STREET
BETWEEN MARKHAM STREET AND LAHARPE BOULEVARD;
AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISING AND TAKING OF
BIDS FOR SUCH PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to employ Garver & Garver, Engineers, to prepare
plans and specifications for those improvements necessary in
providing other passage for vehicular and pedestrian traffic
formerly utilizing Spring Street between Markham Street and
LaHarpe Boulevard. Further, the City Manager is authorized
upon receipt of said plans and specifications to advertise
and take bids based on said plans for the implementation
thereof.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
