A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR TRAFFIC
SIGNALS ; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT ; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
mast arms and clamps for use by the Traffic Department to provide
traffic signals ; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive and responsible bids have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the purchase of these items from and by its lowest
responsive and responsible bidders .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The lowest responsive and responsible bid
on a contract for mast arms and clamps for use by the Traffic
Department has been accepted and a contract is hereby awarded to
Pfaff & Kendall Company in the amount of Five Thousand, Eight
hundred, twenty-six ($5 , 826 . 00) Dollars which sum is to be paid
from the Parking Facilities Construction Fund heretofore appro-
priated.
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the mast arms and clamps ,
complying in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid
proposal , the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants
in payment of said purchase price .
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
