4615 RESOLUTION NO. 4,615 A RESOLUTION FIXING DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 4, FITZGERALD'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed by Drummond Funeral Home, Inc. , and others with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, asking that the Board of Directors vacate and abandon the alley described in said petition and hereinafter described. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the meeting of said Board of Directors at 7:30 p. m. on the 2nd day of August, 1971, be fixed as the date and time for the hearing upon said petition to vacate and abandon said alley described as follows, to-wit: A strip of land twenty (20) feet in width running East and West through the center of Block Four (4), FITZGERALD'S ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, extending the entire length of said Block from the East line of Marshall Street easterly to the West line of Bishop Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. The notice shall state the name of the persons signing said petition, describe said alley to be vacated and advise all persons that on said date fixed herein, the Board of Directors will hear and determine whether said alley shall be vacated.
