A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR FUNDING BOTH EXISTING
PROJECTS AND ADDITIONAL PROJECTS IN THE CITY'S
COMPREHENSIVE CITY DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM AND
REALLOCATING FUNDS HERETOFORE APPROVED FOR
FUNDING PROJECTS IN SAID COMPREHENSIVE DEMONSTRATION
PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the Department of Housing and Urban Development has
heretofore approved the funding of projects and activities in the
Comprehensive City Demonstration Program as authorized under Title
1 of the Demonstration Cities and Metropolitan Development Act of
1966 and pursuant to the request of the City provided for in its
Resolution #4398 adopted June 15, 1970, as amended by Resolution
#4453 adopted October 5, 1970; and
WHEREAS , it is the desire of the City to add and fund add-
itional projects and to fund existing projects to said program;
and
WHEREAS , to fund the additional projects and to fund existing
projects it is necessary to reallocate funds from projects hereto-
fore approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to make application to the Department of Housing and
Urban Development for certain new projects in the City' s
Comprehensive Demonstration Program, and to request that fund-
ing for the new projects and for certain existing projects be
provided by reallocation of funds from projects originally approved.
SECTION 2e The City Manager is hereby requested to make
application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development
for the reallocation of funds to and from projects in the City' s
Comprehensive Demonstration Program to include certain new projects
identified herein according to the following Table and Schedule
reflecting project identification, requested decreases in funds as
a result of reallocation, together with increases of funds as a
result of reallocation:

SECTION 3, The City Manager is authorized and directed to
execute any and all supporting applications and documents as may
be necessary to accomplish the reallocation of said funds as
referred to in Section 2 hereof in keeping with the requirements
of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
