A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ADMISSION FEES FOR
WAR MEMORIAL PARK SWIMMING POOL AND GILLAM
PARK SWIMMING POOL; CLOSING THE POOLS ON
MONDAYS ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has conducted
an appraisal of the efficiency of the operation and maintenance of
the swimming pools at War Memorial Park and at Gillam Park; and
WHEREAS , the said Director has concluded and recommended
to the Board of Directors that the admission fee to the War Memorial
pool be set at $. 50 per person for all persons ; that the admission
fee to the Gillam pool be set at $ . 25 per person for all persons ;
and that both of said pools be closed on Mondays for purposes of
cleanup and for purposes of providing off-time for pool employees.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The admission fee to War Memorial Park swimming
pool is hereby set at $ . 50 per person for all persons .
SECTION 2. The admission fee to Gillam Park Swimming pool
is hereby set at $. 25 per person for all persons .
SECTION 3 . War Memorial Park swimming pool and Gillam Park
swimming pool will henceforth be closed on Mondays.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
