RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE CLOSING
OF A PORTION OF EAST EIGHTH STREET LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 5
AND 12, WOODRUFF'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, on the 12th day of February , 1971 , asking
the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon a portion of East Eighth Street
lying between Blocks 5 and 12 of Woodruff's Addition to the City of Little Rock,
said Addition being designated on a Plat now appearing of record in Deed Book
AB at Page 210, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, sub-
ject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street. A portion
of East Eighth Street to be abandoned is hereby described more particularly as
follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 12 , Woodruff's Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence West along the North
boundary line of said Block 12, Woodruff's Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to the intersection of said North boundary
line with the East right of way line of United States Interstate Hwy.
No. 30; thence Northwesterly along the said East right of way line
of said United States Interstate Hwy. No. 30 to its intersection with
the South boundary line of Block 5, Woodruff's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence East along said South
boundary line of Block 5, Woodruff's Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Southeast corner of said Block 5
Woodruff's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence
South to the Northeast corner of Block 12 , Woodruff's Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the placeof beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . The hearing on said request shall be held at the meeting
of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. , on the
5th day of April , 1971 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such
hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2)

consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
