A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING UPON A
PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO VACATE , ABANDON AND CLOSE
PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS LOCATED
IN TAYLOR AND BODEMAN' S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , AND COX 'S SUBDIVISION OF
TAYLOR AND BODEMAN' S ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , IN CONFORMANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN
FOR THE UNIVERSITY PARK URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT ,
PROJECT ARK. R-51 .
WHEREAS, Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , has requested this Board of Directors to adopt an
Ordinance praying that portions of certain streets and alleys
located in Taylor and Bodeman' s Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , and Cox' s Subdivision of Taylor and Bodeman' s
Addition, an Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , be
vacated , abandoned and closed in conformance with the provisions
of the Urban Renewal Plan for the University Park Urban Renewal
Project , Project Ark. R-51, as more particularly described in
the proposed Ordinance and Plat attached thereto , and has alleged
that it is the sole owner of the lands abutting upon same ;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Board of Directors
of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1 . That the 5th day of April 1971 at
7:30 o' clock p. m. in the chambers of the Board of Directors is
the date and time fixed for the hearing on said proposed Ordinance .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
give notice of such hearing by publication once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County and
having a general circulation in the City, stating in said Notice
a description of the streets and alleys to be vacated, and advising
all persons that on the date named above , the Board of Directors
will hear the proposed Ordinance and determine whether said streets

and alleys should be vacated .
