A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO UNDERTAKE A
REVIEW OF ITS HEALTH RFCULATICr: YM IN r FF CT
REQUESTING ASSISTANCE FROM THE STATE, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , it is suggested that the health regulations of
the City of Little Rock are not in conformity with the State health
regulations;
WHEREAS , it is the opinion of the Board of Directors that
a review of City regulations together with the assistance of the State
Health Department would be conducive to the environmental sanitation
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION lz The Health Department of the City of Little Rock
is hereby directed to immediately undertake a review of the City Health
regulations as compared to the State health regulations in an effort to
achieve uniformity in said regulations and standards . The City Health
Department through the office of the City Manager is further directed to,
upon the completion of said review, request those services and assistance
to include a review of the State Health regulations with any recommended
changes in State regulations, from the State Health Department as deemed
necessary to achieve the aforementioned result .
SECTION 20 This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
