A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A PORTABLE
STEEL BUILDING FOR LANDFILL, AUTH-
ORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES .
WHEREAS , invitation for bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
a steel building for landfill;
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the purchase of aforementioned item from and by the
lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bidder
on contract for the purchase of a portable steel building for
landfill is hereby accepted and contract awarded to M. P. Build-
ing Sales Company, 8611 New Benton Highway, Little Rock, Arkansas,
in the amount of Two Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Four and 56/100
Dollars ($2,374.56) which amount includes sales tax.
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the aforementioned item, com-
plying in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid
proposal, the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or war-
rants in payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
