RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OD DIRECTORS. OF THE
CITY. OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE
OF HEARING. ON THE PETITION TO. VACATE PORTIONS
OF THE STREETS IN UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS (ASHTON
PARK) ADDITION; PROVIDING. FOR THE PUBLICATION
OF NOTICES THEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 12th day
of October , 1970, petitioning the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon certain portions of streets in University Heights
(Ashton Park) Addition as designated on the Plat of said Addition
now appearing of record in Plat Book 1, page 93, and Plat Book 1,
page 107., in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
said streets being more particularly described in said petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be heard
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30
o'clock P. M. , on the 7th day of December 1970.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once
a week for two. (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
Pulaski County, Arkansas , and having general circulation in the City
of Little Rock.
