A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE CERTAIN AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, TO PERFORM
CERTAIN SERVICES IN THE MODEL CITIES PRO-
GRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, there is recognized a need to bind certain city
agencies and the Model Cities Program in performing the functions
of the Model Cities Program; and,
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors desire that agreements with
the Model Cities Program be by written contract same being conducive
to more effective control and organizational stability.
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors feel that a written agree-
ment entered into between the City of Little Rock and the Model Cities
Program is the most effective means of clearly establishing the duties
and responsibilities as between the agencies .
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
SECTION to The City Manager of the City of Little Rock is
hereby authorized and directed to execute those agreements binding
various Little Rock agencies and departments to the Model Cities Pro-
gram as and where such agreements are deemed necessary by the City
Manager in the implementation of the Model Cities Program.
SECTION 20 This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
